In order to achieve a progress in the agrarian scientific sphere, Azerbaijan needs a potential for reconstruction of scientific-research enterprises, implementation of planned modernization and conduction of molecular-genetic research.
APA reports that Director of the Genetic Resources Institute of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Zeynal Akberov offered in the meeting of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences that a new strategy of selection in favor of state and accordance with the market demand, and state programs on selection of priority plants must be implemented.
Akberov added that a modern agropark is planned to be created in Khizi.
According to him, interactive digital expert systems, which include knowledge, analyses, cartograms, about land, water, plant and etc. complex data about cadastre and modern technologies, must also be created.
