Turkish Education Minister Mahmut Ozer will moderate the events, and also hold bilateral talks with his counterparts.

According to Turkey’s National Education Ministry, the 8th Turkic Council summit is scheduled to be held in Istanbul on Nov. 12, and will be hosted by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Turkey will take over the term presidency at the event.

The Turkic Council was formed in 2009 to promote cooperation among Turkic speaking states. It consists of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Uzbekistan as member countries, and Hungary as an observer state.
